“Listen please.  I love you.  Hearken to My still small voice, My children.  Listen closely. 

Glorify the Lord with me
Let us together extol His name

Do not try to force Me to speak to you.  I will not be intimidated.  I am not afraid of you.  Do not try to twist My arm or hold your breath until I concede.  You will only embarrass yourselves if you do not wait patiently. 

I know at all times what I can speak to you to help you calm down.  I know what I can say that will build your confidence in your abilities to hear My voice.  If you will start praying and seeking My face at regular intervals, instead of just when your worries and cares have piled so high that you are desperate for answers, then it will be much easier for Me to train you to distinguish between your own thoughts and My still small voice.

I love you, My children.  I want to help you.  You do not have to try to talk Me into anything good for you.  It is the desire of My heart to communicate with you spontaneously, but first you need to be convinced that I am God and you are not. 

You are My servants if you want to learn and do My will.  I am not going to communicate with you in order to learn what your wills or your ideas are.  It is enough.
